GridPoint and EnergyHub Partner to Offer More Choice in Home Energy Management

GridPoint to Support EnergyHub’s Award-winning Dashboard 

TAMPA, FLA – March 23, 2010 − GridPoint, Inc., an established leader in smart energy solutions, and EnergyHub, a leading home energy solutions provider, today announced at DistribuTECH that GridPoint’s home energy management solution will support EnergyHub’s Dashboard, which was chosen by Time Magazine as a Best Invention of 2009 for its ability to “rein in the real power hogs” in a user’s home. The partnership will offer utilities and consumers more choice and flexibility to access best-in-breed smart devices.

GridPoint’s home energy management solution, a comprehensive offering that provides the foundation for an interactive, ongoing relationship between utilities and consumers, allows for the rapid, easy integration of third-party devices – including smart thermostats, in-home displays, energy dashboards and smart plugs – into utility smart grid and energy efficiency programs. This solution provides utilities with greater device control for optimal load management capabilities, while at the same time increasing customer satisfaction and interoperability between and among technology utilized within the smart grid.
