Project Management and Process Improvement Manager

The primary role of the Project Management and Process Improvement candidate is to drive a culture of continuous improvement.

The candidate must be well-versed in project management, be able to diagnose business issues and subsequently organize the plans to address the identified issues via Kaizen events or Six Sigma methodology.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Works with others to develop and drive a continuous improvement roadmap.
  • Facilitates continuous improvement events.
  • Drive efforts to identify and coordinate the planning for Kaizen events and projects, including objectives, root cause analysis, tool identification and team structure.
  • Manage budgets & expenses for Strategic Initiatives, and E3 Continuous Improvement objectives.
  • Own the execution (impact, timeline, and dependencies) and sustainability of project results.
  • Improve baseline performance relative to cost, quality, cycle time and customer satisfaction by delivering business results.
  • Drive the education & development of skills, competencies, and effectiveness among key project members for lean and PMP.
  • Develop and drive the standardization and continuous improvement of the CI principles, tools, and practices.
  • Identify and implement digital technologies that enhance continuous improvement activities.


How you will be Evaluated:

  • Develop and/or execution of Enterprise improvement projects against plan for schedule, cost, and quality.
  • For projects under management yield year-on-year improvement of metrics [i.e., cycle-time, quality] against our annual operating plan and metrics.
  • Development of a standard, consistent approach to sales, delivery, and customer support processes across all lines of business.
  • Ideation and execution of best practices in digital enablement that reduce manual workload and increase productivity.


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Project Management
  • Operations, Quality Management, or continuous improvement experience
  • Leadership, Workshop and Facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to influence Leaders through a data driven approach to problem solving.
  • Strong Project Management, Lean and Six Sigma implementation experience [A3, VSM, etc.]
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively teach, mentor, and coach on continuous improvement programs.
  • Strong collaborative work ethic and ability to build and maintain relationships.
