Peter L. Corsell

Peter Corsell is an investor and entrepreneur known for successfully bringing emerging technologies to market. MIT’s Technology Review recognized him as one of the world’s top innovators under age 35, the World Economic Forum named him a Young Global Leader in 2010, and the National Association of Corporate Directors included him on its inaugural list of leading directors under 40.
Corsell invests in sustainable energy and technology at I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investment firm with $38 billion of assets under management, where he is a Partner and member of the firm’s Operating Committee.
Prior to joining I Squared, Corsell was cofounder and Managing Partner at Twenty First Century Utilities, a private investment firm specializing in sustainability and technology in the electric power sector, which was acquired by I Squared in 2019.
Corsell is Chairman of Atlantic Power & Utilities, a leading power generation and infrastructure company with a well-diversified portfolio of assets across the United States and Canada. Corsell is also Chairman of GridPoint, a leading clean technology company, which he founded in 2003 and led as CEO until 2010. GridPoint has reduced energy consumption in commercial buildings by 6 billion kWh and saved its customers $900 million while avoiding 12 billion pounds of CO2 emissions.
Corsell has been a cofounder, board member and investor in several technology companies focused on clean technology, enterprise software, and cybersecurity. He has been interviewed on Charlie Rose and featured in several books including Hot, Flat, and Crowded by Tom Friedman, Perfect Power by Robert Galvin and Kurt Yeager, Earth: The Sequel by Fred Krupp, The Clean Tech Revolution by Ron Pernick and Clint Wilder, and Our Woman in Havana by Ambassador Vicki Huddleston.
Corsell serves on the Board of Directors at GridPoint, Atlantic Power & Utilities, and Fermata Energy, and is a member of the Yale School of Architecture Dean’s Council. Earlier in his career, Corsell served with the Central Intelligence Agency and with the U.S. Department of State in Havana, Cuba. He holds a BSFS degree from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
Vikas is a Managing Director in the Sustainable Investing Group at Goldman Sachs. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2006. Previously, Vikas was head of the Alternative Energy Investing Group, a dedicated platform deploying capital in the alternative energy sector through a broad range of financing solutions including equity, debt and tax equity. Vikas holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University.
John Collins is a proven senior executive with a strong track record of driving growth, improving operating efficiency, developing talent and effective teams resulting in enhanced shareholder returns. He is a recognized expert in M&A, finance, risk management, strategy, energy and derivatives markets and transaction structuring.
Most recently, Collins served as President and CEO of Cube Hydro Partners, an owner and operator of hydroelectric facilities in the U.S. He grew the company through five acquisitions; from the initial development of a 6 MW hydroelectric facility in western Pennsylvania to the ownership and operations of 19 plants totaling 385 MWs located in five states generating 1.5 million MWhs per year. Under his leadership, Cube Hydro successfully reduced operating costs by 30% while significantly improving overall operating performance. Collins led the negotiations and closing of the sale of the company to a U.S.-based subsidiary of Ontario Power Generation for $1.1 billion, which closed in October 2019.
Previously, Collins spent 22 years with Constellation Energy Group, a Fortune 125 diversified energy company, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Integration. He led the sale of 49% of Constellation’s nuclear generation business to EDF for $4.5 billion, and was the architect of Baltimore Gas & Electric Company’s 72% rate increase settlement with the Maryland legislature. Prior to joining the holding company, Collins was a founding member and CFO of Constellation Energy’s merchant energy business, which grew to become the largest competitive energy supplier in the U.S., and held several financial leadership positions in Baltimore Gas & Electric Company.
Collins also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Constellation Energy Partners, a publicly traded natural gas exploration and production company. He is a founding member and former Chairman of the Committee of Chief Risk Officers (CCRO), which was formed following the collapse of Enron to establish and promote best practices in risk management.
Collins holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Delaware (where he was inducted into the university’s “Wall of Fame”) and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kevin Crull has delivered growth and transformation across several multi-billion dollar businesses in a variety of industries. Leveraging his roots in sales, marketing and product management, he has driven superior execution, strategic M&A, and has built teams who consistently outperform expectations and their competition.
Most recently, Crull served as Sprint’s Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing corporate strategy and business development. In this role he guided the company’s 5G program cross-functionally, evaluated a range of strategic options for the company, helped consummate the T-Mobile merger agreement, and then led integration planning.
Crull joined Sprint as Chief Marketing Officer, where he was recognized as the third most influential global marketer in 2015 by Forbes, ScribbleLive and LinkedIn. As President of Omnichannel Sales, he also led Sprint’s 5,000 company-owned and dealer-owned retail stores, telesales, digital, and national retail channels.
Prior to Sprint, Crull served for nearly five years as President & CEO of Bell Media, Canada’s largest media and broadcasting company, operating conventional TV, Cable TV, Radio, Outdoor, and digital assets in both English and French. He led the acquisition of CTV Globemedia in late 2010, which created the foundation for Bell Media Inc. Following that, he acquired and integrated Astral Media and made strategic investments in MLSE and the Montreal Canadiens.
Before Bell Media, Crull served as President of Bell Residential Services, Canada’s largest consumer telecommunications company, providing high-speed broadband, internet services, home phone, and satellite & fiber television service. He also led the consumer and small business divisions at AT&T and US West/Qwest Communications. Earlier in his career, Crull served in a variety of executive positions during nine years at Nestle USA. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from the University of San Francisco.
Dan Gold is the Chief Executive Officer, managing partner and founder of QVT Financial LP, an asset management company with offices in New York, Palo Alto and New Delhi. He founded the QVT group at Deutsche Bank shortly after joining in 1992, having previously worked as a proprietary trader at Daiwa Securities America (Assistant Vice President from 1990 to 1992) and at Bear, Stearns & Co. (Associate from 1989 to 1990). Gold currently serves as a board member for two companies in the shipping and offshore industry. He holds an A.B. in Physics from Harvard College.
Alex San Miguel
Alex San Miguel is a Partner at TOMS Capital LLC, an actively managed, single family office with an emphasis on wealth preservation and long-term value appreciation. San Miguel helps to manage the firm’s private equity investments and is responsible for the oversight of all legal matters at TOMS Capital. Prior to TOMS Capital LLC, San Miguel was General Counsel of GLG Partners Inc., a NYSE listed alternative asset management firm, from 2007 until 2011. While at GLG, San Miguel had responsibility for all legal and compliance matters and was a member of GLG’s senior executive committee. Prior to GLG, San Miguel was a Partner in the international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP where his practice focused on capital markets, mergers & acquisition and international corporate finance matters. San Miguel began his career as an associate at Thacher, Proffitt & Wood. San Miguel holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from New York Law School.
Scott Sublett is a Managing Director at TOMS Capital LLC, an actively-managed, single-family office with an emphasis on wealth preservation and long-term value appreciation. Mr. Sublett joined TOMS Capital in 2012. He helps to manage the firm’s private equity investments and serves as a board member of a number of TOMS Capital’s portfolio companies. Previously, he was an associate at Quilvest, a global independent wealth manager and private equity investor, where he focused on private equity transactions. Mr. Sublett began his career at Jefferies & Co. in the Recapitalization & Restructuring Group. He holds a Masters in Professional Accounting, B.B.A. in Business Honors and Accounting, and B.A. in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin.
