Following a record year of growth, GridPoint is named for the second straight year to Inc. 5000’s exclusive annual list

RESTON, VA – August 16, 2022 – GridPoint, a leader in building energy management and optimization technology that decarbonizes commercial buildings and drives grid modernization, today announced it has been named to Inc. Media’s 2022 Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies for the second straight year.

“Growth is a major driver for us at GridPoint because the impact can be directly linked to our progress toward accelerating a sustainable energy future,” said Mark Danzenbaker, CEO, GridPoint. “For our customers, growth translates to reduced energy consumption, lower carbon emissions and significant cost savings; for the grid, growth represents an increased demand for cleaner practices resulting in enhanced resiliency. This achievement is a testament to the people and technology behind the GridPoint platform, and we’re proud to be making a difference.”

Serving more than 16,000 commercial sites, GridPoint’s platform was adopted at more locations than ever before in 2021, generating cumulative energy savings of more than $100 million for customers and eliminating 1.4 billion pounds of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions in one calendar year alone.
